Axial fans are designed for moving air and other gas mixtures, the aggressiveness of which towards ordinary quality carbon steels does not exceed the aggressiveness of air, containing no dust and other solid impurities in quantities exceeding 10 mg/m³, as well as sticky substances and fibrous materials. Fans are used for ventilation, air heating, and industrial purposes, with a density of the transported gas medium = 1.2 kg/m³.
