Manifold gauge sets (or manifold gauges) are specialized equipment designed for precise pressure control within refrigeration systems and conducting procedures such as refrigerant charging and vacuuming.

1-valve manifold gauges are devices with a single valve that provides isolation between the connected hoses of the system. Service technicians dealing with refrigeration systems use this equipment for checking system tightness, pressure control, and other crucial technological parameters.

When connecting the manifold gauge set to the refrigeration unit and refrigerant cylinder or to the refrigeration unit and vacuum pump, special hoses are used. The valve on the manifold regulates the flow of refrigerant between hoses of different colors. Color-coded gauges (blue and red) are used to measure pressure on different sides - suction and discharge.

In addition to the pressure scale in atmospheres, manifold gauges may have scales for the boiling points of freon, with each scale specifying the refrigerant type it is intended for.
